Overview
The 6-Day Rongai Route offers a unique approach to Mount Kilimanjaro from the mountain’s northern side, close to the Kenyan border. It is the only route that approaches Kilimanjaro from the north and is renowned for its quieter trails, drier climate, and breathtaking wilderness scenery.
This route is ideal for climbers who prefer a less crowded experience and is particularly recommended during the rainy seasons because the northern slopes receive less rainfall than the southern routes. Although shorter than the 7-day itinerary, it still provides a good acclimatization profile and excellent opportunities to enjoy Kilimanjaro’s diverse landscapes.
At KILIMANJARO MAGIC ADVENTURE, our experienced mountain guides, skilled cooks, and dedicated porters work together to ensure your climb is safe, comfortable, and unforgettable.
